Today has been declared Miami's First Annual Animal Care, Rescue and Adoption Awareness Day! The declaration was made at Miami City Hall to help get the word out that pets need homes. This comes as more animals are being abandoned because of the bad economy. Details here.
You can help animals by joining LITE FM for the Annual Purina Walk for the Animals, which benefits the Humane Society of Greater Miami/Adopt-A-Pet. It's Saturday, February 21st, at Bayfront Park.
