You can say no

You can say no to your boss without endangering your job. Career experts say you can, if you know how. First up agree early on that your boss doesn't want you to be a yes person and it's easier to say "no" if you have defined expectations early in your tenure. Also find a way to demonstrate how "no" will advance your manager's agenda.
