    Marriage and blood pressure

    New study finds if you're happily married, your blood pressure is at a good level. But if you're unhappily married, your blood pressure is probably higher. And those who felt little or no marital satisfaction had higher blood pressure readings than those who were single. My conclusion, listen to your heart and your health, if you're not in a happy place in your marriage, do something about it. Details here.

    March is maddening

    It's called "March Madness," when the NCAA holds its men's college basketball championship tournament. I call it maddening because I don't get to watch my soaps and I don't really care about college basketball. But apparently some people do. There are estimates that 37.3 million workers participate in office pools and 1.7 billion dollars will be lost in productivity. Read more about it here.

    New study finds parents who are stressed out are making their kids sick. Kids are more prone to sickness and weakened immune systems if their parents are anxious or depressed. Read more about it here.
