People who exercise regularly have better bodies and apparently better brains too. A review of studies found exercisers learn faster, remember more, think clearer and bounce back after injury more easily. We've all heard be professional, wear a business suit, and show how you can be a team player when you're looking for a job. But sometimes, if you want to stand out from that crowd, you can do some wacky things and still get hired. One candidate sent a pair of baby shoes with the note "Let me get my foot in the door," another candidate wore a sandwich board at a busy intersection. Read more success stories here.

    Overdue book amnesty

Got a book or two, or video, or any other materials, that you checked out from the library, but failed to return. This is your month. After that, those accounts with outstanding fees will be turned over to a debt collection agency.
