    Make-up makes the man

    Want your man to look more macho and sexy? Do what birds do. Scientists found birds who had make-up on were sexier and more macho and became chick magnets. The scientists darkened the rust colored breast feathers of the New Jersey barn swallows and the female birds flocked to them. Their conclusion, it is indeed clothes or make-up that makes the man.     School's out...gone fishing!

    Now that school is out, what to do with the kids? Take them fishing. You don't have to go far. The Town of Davie is hosting its annual "Take A Kid Fishing Rodeo," Saturday at Wolf Lake Park, 5400 SW 76th Avenue. Registration is at 7:30 am. You get lunch, bait, cap, and goodie bag.     Bunk beds & boo-boos

    Bunk beds may be a great space saver, but they can also be a little dangerous. Nearly 36-thousand kids a year are treated for cuts, bruises and fractures in connection with bunk bed accidents, according to the latest study. Kids younger than three were more likely to injure their head and neck. Surprising finding those between 18 and 21 more than twice as likely to get hurt than those bewteen the ages 14 and 17. And 60 percent of those injured, boys.. because boys will be boys.
