    Veggies bad for brains?

    Research finds you can have too much of a good thing and that those eating an all vegetable diet can suffer the effects, such as brain shrinkage. Veggie diets can lack Vitamin B12 which is needed for good brain function apparently. Also contributing to brain shrinkage, consuming 14 alcoholic drinks or more a week and being overweight. So maybe we shouldn't eat all our veggies, Mom. What do you think of that? Read more about it here.

    You yawn. Your friends yawn. Their friends yawn and so on and so on. And now research finds you yawn... your dog yawns too. The only animal so far (other than primates) that can catch contagious yawning. What about cats? They're really good at stretching, so maybe yawning too? Read more about the yawning story here.

    Wanna be lizard skinny?

    You've heard of the Gila monster, a rare poisonous lizard? Well, doctors have been using the lizards' spit to help diabetics stabilize their blood sugar. Now they've discovered the drug (from lizard's spit) also helps them lose weight. And they're going to do more studies. I can see it now. Studies find on average there are 283 different types of bacteria present in every square inch of your automobile, more if you have pets and kids and eat in the car.
