No hedgehogs for kids

A warning out from the American Academy of Pediatrics that will have many parents breathing easier. At least moms. Young children should not keep hedgehogs, hamsters, baby chicks, lizards and turtles as pets, because of the risks for diseases and the sometimes deadly germs they carry. The warning is for kids 5 and younger. I was hoping for like 18 and under. More here.
